Welcome to St Piran’s Cross Multi-Academy Trust of Schools

    Dear Parents and Carers,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to Grampound Road CE Primary Academy, this school is member of St Piran’s Cross Multi-Academy Trust of five primary academy schools.
The other schools are: Bishop Bronscombe CE in St Austell, Grampound with Creed CE, Ladock CE and Veryan CE.

All our five schools are Church of England primary schools and to this end we try to ensure that there is a Christian distinctiveness to our schools. However, we welcome everyone to our schools regardless of their faith or beliefs.
We are all positive about the autonomy and independence that comes with our schools being a group of academies working together.

    Head of School Welcome

It is my pleasure and privilege to be the Head of School of such a very happy school. Our children are well-behaved, they work hard, try their best and thoroughly enjoy their learning – they are, quite simply a pleasure to teach!

Our staff are committed to making learning exciting and interesting linking to our Christian ethos. We try to provide a stimulating curriculum with organised visits and visitors linked to learning and there are also many opportunities to develop personal interests through the many sports and after school clubs which range from cooking to running club.

There is a very real sense of community within our school – we are a family school which is part of The Saint Piran’s Cross Trust. We are part of a larger Christian community and, through charitable work we teach humility and thankfulness.
